What We Believe

Worship is our ultimate response to God. Prayer, music, and Scripture are important tools in helping us express our devotion to Jesus Christ and in helping us learn His will for our lives.

Christian growth is essential to please our Lord. We therefore, commit to grow in our knowledge of God and the Bible through study and obedience to the command of our Lord. We are persuaded that what we believe matters.

Discipleship
is our goal. To be good disciples, we spend time with Jesus Christ to be more like Him. In Luke 9:23 we learn that discipleship will include self-denial, obedience, and continuous growth in our commitment to Jesus.

Witnessing is presenting the eternal Gospel to our community in relevant ways; that is, "Becoming all things to all people so that by all possible means we might lead some to Christ."

Missions requires committing ourselves to personal and financial support of local, state, national, and international missions, and accepting our responsibility to be involved in, and well informed about, missions and witnessing.

Stewardship
is managing our time, talent, and treasures to serve God best and to assist others in need. In stewardship we should always be motivated by the desire to please our Lord.

Ministry is meeting the needs of our community in the name of Jesus and in His power through the worship and work of the church. We recognize the importance of ministering to different individuals and groups. We minister as a church, as small groups within the church, and as individuals.

Ministry to families involves working to create and preserve families and bring healing to broken homes.

Encouragement
, another ministry of the church, is supporting one another spiritually, physically, and emotionally.

Fellowship is spending time together to grow in love, support, and mutual commitment. We organize into groups to encourage each other. We like being together because we are a family in Christ.
