What are Life Groups?

At Brainerd Baptist, we believe that the Christian life is more than attending worship services. Connecting with other believers and sharing life in a true community is vital to our spiritual growth. Life Groups are where a large church body becomes a close church family. Each week, we gather to build relationships, study God's Word, and pray for one another.

How do I get connected?

Attending our Brainerd Connect event on the first each month is also a great place to take your next step toward being a part of what God is doing in and through our church. Use the button below to find out more about our next event.

What do Life Groups study or discuss?

God's Word is always central regardless of the unique style and preference of each Life Group. Some people enjoy using a curriculum, others discuss the sermon using weekly guides, some leaders are personally gifted in teaching through books of the Bible, and we offer a library full of leader guides or DVDs to borrow. What will my family study?

We believe that discipleship starts at home and that our role is to come alongside parents and caregivers in leading kids to love and live for King Jesus. All age-based Life Groups (preschool–high school) use The Gospel Project curriculum to study the Bible chronologically. This means that no matter what age your children are, they will have age-appropriate lessons and activities based on the same passage of Scripture, allowing you to continue the conversation at home about what they learned in Life Groups.
