While Sunday is an important day for Brainerd Baptist Church, our members gather during the week for Bible study, prayer groups, and life groups. Check out the Campus Maps page for information on the locations listed below.

WEDNESDAY

The midweek worship service is for people 60+. This time of worship will consist of prayer, praise and the proclamation of the Word. Each week, Jim Evans will teach on practical truth that complements and supplements Sunday’s message.

Student Worship Service (Main Campus, BX Venue, The Crossing) - 6:30 PM
All students, 6th-12th grade, can attend the midweek student worship service called The Exchange. Dinner and games begin at 5:30pm. The service starts at 6:30pm.

Kid's Activities (Main Campus, Sanctuary Venue, The Underground) - 6:30 PM

Children In Action (K5 to 5th grade)
Children in Action is a focus on missions designed to help children understand that God wants them to be part of His plan as they learn about missions, pray for missions, give to missions, and do missions. One of our favorite activities during the year is the Operation Christmas Child packing party.

Using curriculum from the Woman’s Missionary Union (WMU.com), children will learn:
How to cultivate a biblical worldview with an emphasis on missions learning and missional living

How to develop leadership skills to serve God and share His love with others
How to grow spiritually in their understanding of God and His mission, including how they are a part of God’s plan.

Preschool (Main Campus, Sanctuaty Venue, Bostick Building)  -6:30 PM

Childcare is provided for babies to two’s. Older one’s and two’s do an activity based on a Bible point.

AWANA Cubbies is available for PreK3’s to PreK4’s. Cubbies rejoices in the spiritual potential of 3 and 4 year olds by guiding them to grow in love for God and His Word. Each week Cubbies experience Bible lessons through fun puppets, games, crafts and interactions with friends. Growing experiences continue at home through handbooks that encourage parental involvement in reinforcing Bible verses and lessons learned each week.

The book of Hosea—it’s a deeply personal and passionate love story, yet it’s a difficult story. As an account full of harsh judgment unfolds, we find in its midst a rare and pure gem: the truest and purest of loves.

Hosea, an old-testament prophet, preached his own life message using his marriage as the sermon illustration. The study of Hosea looks deeply at that message. It provides background to better understand the intricacies of the man and his message. You’ll be guided to understand, but more especially to apply the message of the prophet of love. The book will challenge us with judgment so harsh it will singe our hair—an unheeded sermon warning of devastating doom shortly to come. But it will show us the kind of love we dream about. Be amazed by the love of Hosea for his wayward spouse—and more amazed by the unfailing love of God for His wayward people, and for all people. Hosea showers us with hope—hints and portents pointing to the coming of the promised Messiah.
