11:00 Worship Service Move

Beginning January 10, 2027, we will be relocating our 11:00 service to our Sanctuary. Although the physical location of our service will change, the core structure and the leadership of our service will not change.

A decision like this comes only after much prayer and consideration. Recently, our attendance at the BX service has grown significantly, and has often posed several challenges (including finding seats for a group or family to sit together). As we considered potential solutions, some priorities driving our thinking have been stewardship and unity. Any other space (rather than the sanctuary) would require significant immediate financial investment to have weekly worship services, as well as the ongoing logistical investment of setup and tear down each week. Moving to the sanctuary helps us better steward those resources.

In addition, we believe that our 8:30 and 11:00 services meeting in the same space has the potential to pull us closer and bring us together as a church family. Although the services will have their differences, they will be meeting in the same space. Understandably, the move will create some new logistical challenges that we will have to respond to, but our hope is that the proximity to our BrainerdKids hub will make Sundays much less complicated for families. The additional space should also relieve the stress each week of making sure groups can find seats together.
